MTR Group Ltd sign 3-year deal to run Samsung’s Trade-In program - November 2016
MTR Group has been appointed as Samsung’s exclusive UK Trade-In partner supporting trade-in on Samsung.com/uk as well as the introduction of a retail solution across the ever-expanding SSC network (currently 17 stores).
For over 5 years now there has been a relationship between MTR and Samsung. Steve Healy (MTR Group MD) said ‘the goal at MTR was always to strengthen our relationship with Samsung. For several years, we have been working hard, relatively unknown to the industry creating a business model and brand that is ready for rapid growth without losing the quality of service that we’ve worked so hard to create’.
This is an exciting step for MTR and their future growth plans. In March 2016 MTR opened a SSC in Cambridge. Two months later in May they relocated their 3,000 sq ft repair facility from Hoddesdon to Harlow. They have invested over £350,000 in their state of the art 13,000 sq ft facility creating a full ESD workshop for 72 technicians and processors, warehousing, 3,000 sq ft dedicated processing area and dedicated sales floor.
In addition to the UK Trade-In program, MTR will also be supporting Samsung with their ‘Upgrade Program’. An annual upgrade program ensuring Samsung customers always have access to the latest flagship products.
